Subject : Sustainable Plastic Packaging      Bottle logo

Transparent Packaging Inc. recently introduced 25% Post Consumer Recycled PET clear folding cartons to the packaging industry. After a long and rigorous development and trial period with its raw material suppliers, Transparent Packaging introduced the new material at West Pack in Anaheim California. This new material is another step in the sustainable packaging movement that completes the circle of reusable, recyclable packaging. What starts out as a beverage bottle and is put out to the curb side blue box, is later converted into a clear folding carton, used for everything from hardware, to cosmetics. Both the beverage bottle and the clear folding carton are a #1 on the recycle symbol scale. To emphasize this circle of usage life, Transparent Packaging Inc. also trademarked their “I was a bottle” logo.

The 25% Post Consumer Recycled Pet compliments Transparent Packagings other clear folding carton materials such as the corn based PLA, PVC, A-PET, and Polypropylene.

Transparent Packaging Inc. is one of the leading manufacturers of clear folding cartons, rigid windows for paper boxes, set up box lids and clear point of purchase dispensers, specializing in plastic packaging for over 20 years.

In addition to working with materials that create the smallest environmental foot print possible, Transparent Packaging grinds almost all of its scrap material on site for use by extruders to reprocess the materials into other products. The power used in the manufacturing plant is all from non fossil fuel, renewable Hydro ( water flow ) generated electricity.
